Abstract   Between Jan 1987 and Jul lymphoma were treated with vincristine 1.4 mg/m IV day prednisone 40 mg/m PO day 1990, 35 patients of intermediate and some high-grade Non-Hodgkins modified COP-BLAM regimen (cyclophosphamide 650 mg/m IV day 1, 1, doxorubicin 50 mg/m IV day 1, procarbazine 100 mg/m PO day 1-7, 1-7, bleomycin 10 mg/m IV day 15). Median age was 48 (range 15-71) and M:F ratio was 2.5:l. The most common histologic type was diffuse large-cell lymphoma (DLCL) (49%). Of the 35 patients, 8 had clinical stage I, 17 stage II, and 10 stage Ill & IV according to Ann Arbor criteria. 10 patients had systemic symptoms. Bulky disease was found in 9 out of 35 patients. Overall complete response (CR) was 74%(26/35). Median duration of CR was 14.9 months (range 3. 0-42+). And, in complete responders, 2-year relapse-free survival (RFS) rate is 53.8%.
